A comprehensive review of all discovery to verify nothing is missing or overlooked. I analyze reports, videos, interviews, and evidence to identify inconsistencies, gaps, or investigative errors. After review, I collaborate with defense counsel to determine next steps and build an informed, strategic path forward.
Witness Interviews
Detailed interviews with witnesses, victims, and involved parties to clarify timelines, uncover inconsistencies, and capture critical information that may have been overlooked. I ensure statements are accurately documented and help identify additional leads for the defense.
Evidence Review & Development
Comprehensive evaluation of all available evidence, including reports, recordings, photographs, and digital files. I verify accuracy, identify inconsistencies, and help develop additional evidentiary leads. My goal is to strengthen the defense strategy by ensuring every detail is reviewed and no opportunity is overlooked.
Location Verification & Scene Analysis
On-site verification of locations tied to the case, including routes, distances, timelines, lighting, and environmental considerations. When appropriate, I conduct scene analysis to visually document relevant areas, evaluate vantage points, and help clarify how events may have unfolded. This work supports accurate timelines and challenges assumptions that may be unsupported by the physical surroundings.
Mitigation & Background Research
Trauma-informed mitigation investigation to humanize the client and provide context beyond the allegations. This includes social-history development, interviews with family, friends, and community members, and gathering school, medical, employment, and military records. Mitigation work helps the defense present a complete picture of the individual, highlighting circumstances and factors that may influence negotiation or sentencing.
Specialized Support Services
Additional support designed to strengthen the defense and prepare cases for hearings and trial. Including jury preparation research, witness coordination, subpoena and records assistance, and organizing complex evidence using spreadsheets, timelines, charts, and visual summaries. I also assist with presenting evidence in court and assist in preparing exhibits and materials.
